The image and structure of the beehive often represents the ideal for a team that works together for the greater good of the whole. Each member of the group asserts their individual skills in conjunction with their colleagues, creating a community that not only functions but thrives. Beehives represent not only the pinnacle of team building, but how valuable the work of the colony can be to the ecosystem of the world around them. In developing a unique charitable Colorado team building experience, we’ve dug deep into the principles of the hive, and produced activities that will help your group gain a deeper understanding of the community they’re a part of.
Teams will learn all about organization, membership, division of work, supporting the team, and communication through the Beehive model. While they compete in challenges that will help improve those skills they will be gathering supplies to build their own bee farm. The best thing about this program is the warm feeling of philanthropy that comes with donating beehives to rural and impoverished areas locally or worldwide. When beehives are donated, they create a sustainable family income for their new owner. A diverse range of workers can produce and sell many products with the wax and honey from their hives, such as beeswax candles, honey-flavored baked goods, healing salves, bee pollen, hand and facial creams and more!
