Each team will be required to work together in challenges that will earn them supplies to build their own custom care package that will be donated to local shelters. Each of the puzzles and challenges can be customized for the needs and abilities of your group, the budget, or to add trivia from your organization.

Birthday Memories

We work with the local non-profit A Precious Child to donate a special box containing everything a child needs to celebrate their special day. A Precious Child works with families in need to identify kid’s who otherwise would not get gifts, a cake, decorations, etc. on their birthday as these things are out of reach finnacially for the family. Your organization will be divided into teams and work together on custom designed and curated challenges, puzzles, and trivia in order to earn the supplies needed to build a Birthday-In-A-Box package.

Military Care Packages

Join your colleagues to make the day of someone over seas serving in our armed forces. Each team will be required to work together in challenges that will earn them supplies to build their own custom care package that will be sent to military stations requesting extra supplies. Each of the puzzles and challenges can be customized for the needs and abilities of your group, the budget, or to add trivia from your organization.

Conference Scavenger Hunt

Random Acts of Kindness

A light-hearted competition that helps bring a smile to someone’s face. From ‘paying it forward’ to doing something generous for a teammate, teams will be tasked with a set of challenges encouraging them interact with each other and the public at large in ways they never normally would. Random’ is the key phrase here – to complete each challenge, participants engage in novel ways with their teammates and strangers alike. From recording themselves telling their best joke to a man on the street, to leaving a fiver on a vending machine to treat the next customer, these challenges push team members out of their comfort zone to help spread goodwill in their communities. Groups are split into teams of 3-5 members that compete to see who can do the most good! We will provide a series of challenges that will help you bond with your teammates while giving back to your community. We can customize the game to integrate seamlessly with your existing corporate social responsibility (CSR) initiatives, creating team building experiences founded in kindness and compassion.

Camper Quest

Camping is a true Colorado passion and pasttime. While enjoying the beautiful backdrop of the Colorado mountains, we take your group through a wide range of “camper” themed challenges, using real camping supplies. the great thing is thta all that camping gera gets donated to a local Scout Troop or Non-Profit camp helping inner city kids experience the great outdoors of Colorado

Toy Workshops

In a society filled with disposable products, we’ve come to view toys as just trinkets that can be played with then discarded. But they can be so much more. They can encourage creative thought in children, and provide them with learning opportunities. Their construction, too, is a blend of problem solving skills and the imagination. This is why we’ve created a team building activity in Colorado that both gives to children in need, and builds on your employees’ varied skill sets.

Your group will create cohesion and learn valuable communication skills while making charitable contributions to local children’s charities. The teams must solve challenges and puzzles successfully as a team to earn the supplies they need to create engaging toys that will be donated. We bring all the tools, parts, and accessories to make each toy unique, and allow the group to use their creativity in its production.

This activity can be arranged in a way that takes into account your company’s individual budgetary requirements, with materials adjusted accordingly.

Global Solar Giving

Sustainability is increasingly becoming a salient feature in business today. Organizations like yours are understanding their responsibilities to both their local environment, as well as their role in the global picture. Sustainable practices can certainly be implemented as part of day-to-day company activities, but it’s also important to provide team members with an insight into the company’s sustainable activities can impact individuals in cultures very different from their own.

We’ve created an opportunity for team building in Denver Metro that truly allows your company to change the lives of others. As the world’s population increases and nonrenewable sources of energy for cooking dwindle (e.g., firewood in Asia and Africa) or seriously damage the ozone layer (e.g., fossil fuels), the need to adopt clean, renewable energy sources and devices that utilize these sources grows ever more critical. One important tool that helps address these issues is the use of Solar ovens.

We begin by working with you to tailor your event to fall in line with your Corporate Social Responsibility policies. During the event, each of your company’s teams will work together to complete problem solving challenges in order to win the supplies they need to construct a solar oven. After following instructions and utilizing technical skills to complete their device, they’ll use an oven at the end of the event to bake cookies for one another as a special treat. Connections Team Building & Training then sends the ovens to third world countries, where being able to boil water can be the difference between life & death.

Bikes for Kids

Riding a bike is often a key aspect of our formative experiences. It provides us with healthy exercise, enhances our physical and cognitive skills, and offers the opportunity for incredible adventures and the memories that go along with them. Unfortunately, there are children in our state that don’t have those opportunities. We’ve created a Colorado team building event that engages your team’s technical and creative skills, while allowing your company the chance to make a real impact on the lives of children.

This bicycle building experience will touch your hearts and inspire your minds. It is filled with fun and excitement, as well as the opportunity to develop skills, tools and insights that will make a dramatic and powerful effect on your team. However, this activity goes beyond the simple ability to follow instructions and work together. Teams will compete in problem solving puzzles and challenges in order to be rewarded with the tools and pieces needed to construct the bikes. Participants get to bond through their competitive spirit, harness their individual talents, and engage their empathy to understand their effect upon the world. The bicycles produced by your teams will be donated to local children’s organizations like The Tennyson Center, YMCA, A Precious Child, CASA or Boys & Girls clubs.
